C-Beam Machine Build
With the recent release of the C-Beam machine mechanical kit on our website, we thought this would be a good chance to show the build of the machine we made for our workshop. All the 3D printed parts that we used on our machine are available via a download link at the end of this post. We picked all the parts out as if we bought one of our kits. Doing this at the start saves a lot of time going to the stock room and back, and labelling all the parts makes it a whole lot quicker. A couple of days later it’s built! In total it only took 4-6 hours, could probably be co..

Introducing RADDS, a 32-bit 3D Printer Controller
Shop RADDS Here It has been a busy couple of months here at Ooznest, with the summer brake stretching us thin and kits keeping us busy, we have been quieter than we would like on the blog and social outlets. We have been wanting to stock a 32-bit 3D printer controller for some time now, and we feel RADDS is t..

Over the coming months we are going to be working on creating Add-On kits which can be bought in addition to the..

The first new addition is 40x40mm V-Slot extrusion available in 500/1000/1500mm lengths, with our cutting service for all in-between. 40x40 offers you a whole new set of possibilities for machines designs, and perfectly compliments our current range of aluminium extrusions. As guessed, 40x40 has the "V" groove on all 4 sides, allowing each to be used as a linear rail. There is many great examples where 40x40 can be used. On kossel 3D printers, or any delta tower that uses aluminium extrusion, 15x15 or 20x20mm extrusio..

The concept of 3D printing has been around a long time, but it’s only in the last few years that the idea has really started to gain traction. Now it’s not just the engineers, architects and manufacturers who are exploring the benefits, but the designers and marketers working from home, too. 3D printing opens up a world of possibilities, making it possible to create objects from scratch in just a matter of hours. This means designers and developers can move their creations from the confines of a flat monitor into a real, physical part quicker than ever before. 3D printing is ach..
