To convert a V1.0 Screw Drive WorkBee to a WorkBee Z1+ Screw Drive.

This kit includes the Z1+ Thrust Bearing Kit.

The WorkBeeV1.0 was originally designed as a dual-drive system, making it a Screw Drive at smaller sizes and Belt Drive at larger sizes. Previously WorkBee sizes greater than 1000x1000mm were limited to belt drive because of unacceptable whip exhibited by a Lead Screw at longer lengths. However, we have changed the WorkBee Design and Assembly method on the WorkBee Z1+ to drastically reduce the whip on extra-large Lead Screws.

This kit is designed for the following situations:

To convert a V1.0 Belt Drive WorkBee to a WorkBee Z1+ Screw Drive.
To convert a V1.0 Screw Drive WorkBee to a WorkBee Z1+ Screw Drive.

Using the parts from this kit, along with parts from disassembling portion of the WorkBee, you will be able to fully convert your machine to a WorkBee Z1+ Screw drive system on all axis.
