CNC Machining is naturally a messy job, containing and removing the cutting debris with a CNC Dust Shoe will keep the machine clean and allow it to run much smoother. A cleaner machine will also mean the mechanical parts will wear significantly less. The Dust shoe will also create a vacuum environment for the cut, removing chips and thus removing heat, this will improve cutting performance and increase the milling bit life span. If you are considering to use the any CNC Machine in a production environment we would highly recommend using a CNC Dust shoe.
Our split-shoe is specially designed for smaller CNC Machines like the WorkBee, and will clamp around any 69mm outer diameter router, this includes the DeWalt D26200. It has a clear arcylic plate that allows the cut to be viewed during operation, and a 2” brush that magnetically attaches to the upper plate. The removable brush ring allows for quick and easy access to change the bit. The vacuum outlet is 2-1/2”.

The dust shoe is a well made product but i feel it overpriced by about a third. i suspect the reason for the higher pricing is that its imported from the usa. the bristles were a little longer than i would require as i typically use shorter end mills. i decided to return the item and ooznest’s team was helpful in arranging a return.

I like this product, the magnets are strong, the plastic and design is good. some bristles are coming out already, and not used it much. i do think this item is overpriced, by about double to be honest. there are no other options i could find, other than making your own.
i would recommend from a convenience and ease of use. just if you have the time make your own maybe.

Very good product does just what i wanted it to do. brush strip does tend to fall out of the groove a little too easily but will put a few dabs of mastic in the groove to hold it in better. other than that good quality product

Fits ok and picks up most of the bits – it’s much cleaner running a job with the shoe on. the see through top helps but it does leave the cutting head unsighted, the advantage of not being knee deep in chippings does offset this a lot! very pleased with it so far.

I honestly thought this was an add on, but with a few days of use… this is a must. I am sure most dust shoes work work, but this is well made and fit for purpose, the removable brushes make setting work 0 easily and then just clip it on. would recommend!
