Hall Effect magnetic endstops are a precise non-contact proximity sensing device. The hall sensor provides an analog signal that is proportional to the magnetic field strength. A potentiometer on the Hall Effect endstop allows for sensitive range setup, the analog signal is compared with this value.
These Hall Effect endstops are 32-bit ready, meaning they receive a +3.3V input and output a +3.3V signal, and are plug and play with our RADDS v1.5 controller board. Additionally they can also operate at +5V.
A small magnet is included with the endstop. The endstop has 3 pinouts as follows:
1. VVC (+3.3V or +5.0V)
2. GND
3. SI

I used these a few years ago when i built a cnc machine.
i have now built a voron 3d printer and decided to use them again. they work really well as end-stop sensors

Really accurate for 3d printing

These boards work really well with the duet boards. i think they should be reliable long term as there are no moving parts or physical connections made. working well as end stops on my 3d printer.
