Using a thermocouple will allow a higher temperature reading than a traditional thermistor. This K-Type Thermocouple has a temperature range of 0 - 600°C, more than enough for any hotend on the market. In most cases you will need an additional electronic board to makes this K-Type Thermocouple compatible with your 3D Printer's electronic controller
