The new internal geometry of the E3D v6 nozzle has brought together community feedback and extensive testing. The new nozzles have been designed from the ground up, and have been optimised to reduce back-pressure, ease filament flow, and improve retractions.
The bottom flat surface of the nozzle flattens down the layer of plastic, for each nozzle size this has been customised. On the smaller nozzles, a small tip gives high precision. Whereas on the larger nozzle, a large flat tip improves the finish when printing large layers.
All nozzles are now identifiable by the markings seen on the flats of the hex head. See the table below to identify each nozzle.
The nozzle kit includes a variety of size and material from the E3D ecosystem perfectly presented in a safe storage case with nozzle identification labels.
The E3D v6 nozzle fun pack allows you to experience the whole 3D printing experience, at super fine detail, or extreme high speed. Also included is the simple E3D Nozzle spanner.
The E3D Nozzle fun pack contains:
1 x 0.15mm Brass Nozzle – Super fine detail, for that wow factor printing.
1 x 0.80mm Brass Nozzle – Fast and quick printing, but still aesthetically stunning prints.
1 x 0.25mm Copper Nozzle – Easier to use than a 0.15mm nozzle, but still allows for intricate details.
1 x 0.40mm Copper Nozzle – Nickel coating for increased flow rate, and a great all round size.
1 x 0.40mm Hardened Nozzle – Used for abrasive materials like carbon fibre or metal-filled PLA.
1 x 0.60mm Hardened Nozzle – A good medium between precision and speed, but still print abrasive materials.

After struggling to get carbloaded filament printed with a nozzle from a different manuafacturer i decided i would give e3d’s nozzles a try.
flow rate was recalibrated to 95% instead of 74.2% which resulted in stronger parts for my new printer.
only gripe is you have to guess which nozzle is what, whether it is hardend or copper, brass is easy as they all look the same, apart from the brass!
