Helical Flexible Shaft Couplings For Lead Screws
Helical Beam Flexible Shaft Couplings are a precision-machined, single-piece coupling designed to connect shafts while compensating for misalignment. Ideal for light to medium-duty applications, this coupling offers zero backlash for accurate torque transmission and smooth motion control. Its helical cut design allows it to flex under angular, axial, and parallel misalignments without sacrificing performance. Easy to install and maintain, it is commonly used in stepper motor and encoder setups where precision and reliability are essential. While it has limited torsional stiffness and damping capabilities, its simplicity and flexibility make it a popular choice for many motion control systems.
