Very easy to replace less than 5 minutes. Making sure you put them in the right way up.

The product itself is fine, but the cost is ridiculous. £30 ish for a pair of carbon brushes. This is about 10% of the cost of the machine.

I thought these looked expensive when I first bought one, only to discover that the price was for one, not a pair. Buy two, and add postage and packing, and you are spending about ¬£30 for a new set of brushes. These have to be changed about every 6 months, so it’s ¬£60 per annum to keep a ¬£300 milling motor running. Pairs of brushes for other machines sell for around ¬£10.
