Mr J Smith (verified owner) –
The chuck does not lock and hold the bitt, even when I tightened it past where I felt it was tight. I had to revert to using my old chuck after damaging 2 x workpieces by pulling the bitt down into the wood.

Compared to my amb 1050 router this router is a lot quieter.

Working well so far… Nothing to compare it with and can’t speak for longevity. But happy so far.
Mr Peter Phillips (verified owner) –
Very quiet and powerful enough for my purposes. It looks and feels like a quality piece of equipment. I’m looking forward to putting it through it’s paces!

Only run for a few hours but so far seems a good product. Bit changing is easy, and speed control is easy to change, with an attached table of speeds for each position. My main reason for buying this was noise. At a rating of about 70 decibels it is reasonably quiet, and means I can use it without ear defenders if necessary.

The option to purchase other models would be great, such as Mafell:
1. Quick release model
2. Electronic version that plugs in to the machine so it can be controlled by software
