Getting your 3D Prints to stick is one of the most frustrating parts of 3D Printing. Trying all types of techniques, such as kapton tape, hairspray, or glue, just never seen to be adequate enough. LokBuild is Steelmans3D solution to this problem. LokBuild is an easy to apply build surface that ensures 3D Models adhere, but can be easy removed.
LokBuild can be easily cut to the exact size of your print area, and simply sticks using a heat resistant adhesive backing. It removes the need to use any other techniques to make prints stick, but allows easy part removal. LokBuild is being constantly tested with new materials, here is a list of successfully tested materials: ABS, PLA, HIPS, PET, CF-XT, CF-nGen, Polycarbonate, Ninjaflex, and more…
Similar solutions relying on the nozzle height being perfectly accurate, to high and the model will not stick, too close and the print is impossible to remove. LokBuild is much more durable and much more forgiving, making the level of calibration a simpler process.

Its hard to explain how this print bed differs from the one that was originally on the factory print bed but it definitely feels a bit thicker and has more texture. i have done about 4 or 5 prints and i havent had to use any adhesive. that might change depending on what i am printing. the big question is how long it will last v cost. but so far im impressed.

Early days but compared to the old build surface lokbuild does seem to be better quality. it was dead easy to attach and so far the prints that i have done have stuck really well. time will tell as to how long it will last.

Lokbuild s durable, easy to clean and easy to install. very easy to trim down to match my build plate size using a box knife on a cutting mat. but i won’t be using it because pla adheres too strongly and is difficult to remove even after adjusting gap, layer height, turning bed heating off, etc. i contacted the manufacturer for advice; they were responsive but their advice didn’t make a difference. the product is too difficult to work with so i’ll be using something else. the seller oozenest is great!

Seems to work well albeit dialing in a good start height is more tricky, as if you set it to low you will have difficulty getting the part detached from the bed.

great for all filament types. abs sticks to it like glue so little to no warping.
would recommend if you are looking for a surface that all filaments will stick to lokbuild is what i use and have had no reason to look for an alternative.
