Duet Filament Monitor is a smart sensor that detects filament movement in real time. The filament drives a hobbed magnetic assembly, which is monitored and reported back to the Duet controller. This allows the system to detect issues such as grinding, skipping, or jamming, often before a print fails. When a problem is identified, the monitor can automatically pause the print, preventing wasted time and materials.
This is the unassembled version of the Filament Monitor, supplied as a kit for you to build and integrate with Duet electronics in your 3D printer.
