Curved Jaw Flexible Shaft Couplings For Lead Screws
Curved Jaw Flexible Shaft Couplings are a three-piece coupling designed to connect shafts while offering shock absorption and noise reduction. Ideal for general-purpose applications, this coupling features an elastomeric spider that provides moderate torque capacity and electrical isolation between shafts. Its curved jaw design enables smooth torque transmission with minimal backlash, making it suitable for systems where vibration damping is important. While it has limited misalignment tolerance and low torsional stiffness, its damping characteristics and electrical insulation make it a popular choice for many motion control systems.
