Capricorn TL Series PTFE Tubing 100mm

Capricorn TL series is made from virgin PTFE. This gives it extremely low friction and has a very high temperature resistance. The TL series is of a high precision needed for a 3D Printer. The internal diameter is 2.0mm +- 0.05mm. The 2.0mm internal diameter allows chunky or out of specification filament to be printed. Material filled filaments are a particular use case. Unlike the XS series, the Capricorn TL has no additives, this allows it to be translucent, giving your printer the looks to match the performance.

With a low friction tubing minimal extrusion force is wasted pushing/pulling the filament through the PTFE tube. The force of the extruder is getting where it needs to be, at the hotend.

As filament is pushed through a PTFE tube it will bend slightly, this makes filament behave very similar to a spring. If 1mm is pushed at the extruder end, not exactly 1mm will be re-produced at the hotend. A tight tolerance PTFE Tube like Capricorn TL, minimizes this effect.
